Eddie Sent a V-Letter

During WWII soldiers sent V-Letters home. They were written on blue, tissue thin paper. Uncle Eddie is telling my Mom that he is in a hospital in Germany because he was “touched” by a bullet, but he was doing fine. He expressed his concern about the War Department sending Grandma Dora a letter about his condition and asked Mom to intercept the letter.
