Delirium

As a child I would fall into delirium when I had a high fever. In this delirium I was chased by an angry lion as I ran up the stairs and felt myself falling into a swoon. My Dad would often comfort me deep into the night. Yet, he was 5 feet 11 and 3/4 inches tall. He never made it to 6 feet.
